The history of the fragrance traces back directly to the final emperor of the Southern Tang dynasty, a poet and artist who lovingly composed this specific aromatic recipe for his queen. It was created as a gesture of devotion, designed to capture the essence of gentle luxury and shared calm.

The original ancient method required a complex process that took several days of constant monitoring to complete, making it difficult to reproduce today.
To present the accurate smell, we ultimately chose to work with pure pear juice. Infusing the blend drop by drop allows the natural fruit sugars to enter the incense mixture gently and evenly. This gives us control over the final smooth texture and ensures the scent retains its clean, historical clarity.
